2+2 SCHOLARSHIP

Students who are enrolled at FSU-Panama who are eligible for our “2+2” scholarship program, which allows them to complete up to 2 years of undergraduate studies at our main campus in Tallahassee paying in-state tuition (an estimated annual savings of $15,000).

The following general criteria apply:

  • Be officially admitted as a regular degree- seeking student by FSU.
  • Complete at least 60 credit hours of course work at FSU Panama.
  • Have a grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0) on all FSU coursework.
  • Complete the “Liberal Studies Requirement” (consists of thirty-six credit hours in the areas of English Composition, History/Social Science, Humanities/Fine Arts, and Natural Sciences).

*The above totals do not include the cost of health insurance. Students who do not show proof of existing comparable coverage may enroll in the university-sponsored plan at a cost of $3,135/year.


PAYMENTS AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

FSU Panama accepts payments through personal checks, VISA, Master Card, CLAVE, drafts against a U.S. bank, and wire transfers. The Installment Plan allows students to pay their semester tuition in three installments for an additional fee of $50.00. Payments should be processed in our offices and not online.

We also accept the following forms of financial assistance:

  • Florida Residents: Florida Pre-Paid and Bright Futures
  • Panamanian students: IFARHU loans and scholarships from SENACYT.
  • U.S. students: Federal Student Aid through FAFSA. Apply at www.fafsa.ed.gov
  • Veterans of the U.S Armed Forces: Veterans Educational Benefits for veterans and their dependants

REFUND POLICY
