Prof. Andrea Taylor began her career as an adjunct faculty member in the English Language Program at Florida State University Panama in September, 1999. In May 2000, she was hired as a Permanent Faculty member and Administrator and subsequently promoted to Senior Professor in the ELP- a position which includes teaching as well as liaising with clients from corporations, government entities, NGOs and international organizations. She has taught English and Spanish as well as Tourism and Hospitality Courses in the U.S., Jamaica and Panama for the last twenty years. She holds an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from the University of Jaén in Spain (via distance mode), an MSc in International Tourism with an emphasis on Foreign Language Training and Sustainable Tourism Development from La Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain and a B.A. in General Arts with an emphasis on Spanish and Political Science from the University of the West-Indies, Mona Campus Kingston Jamaica. She also competed undergraduate coursework at Middlebury College in Vermont, U.S.A. and a Baccalaureate Degree at the Armand Hammer United World College in New Mexico, U.S.A.
