The purpose of The Pananole
is to provide the FSU-Panama community with an e-zine that covers all
items that may be of interest to everyone who works or studies at
FSU-Panama. Our primary goal is to celebrate whatever is good, but not
to be afraid of controversy nor of constructive criticism, tempered by
personal respect for all individuals. We value reporting that is
honest, accurate and informed by a sense of duty towards the community.

Student Government Association - Panama (SGAP)

| The FSU-Panama Student Government Association (former Student Council)
started as a forum to create an environment of openness and comfort
that is conducive to learning and personal growth. The Student
Government Association is vital in promoting communication among the
students, and among students, faculty, and staff.

| The Environmental Club is a student organization created to help science
major students develop their teamwork, coordination, and leadership skills
through the development of projects within the disciplines of geology,
oceanography, biology, chemistry, environment and special topics. It also
aims to create a spirit of collaboration and exchange between FSU-Panama
students and the Panama community by though projects that benefit the
community and at the same time allow the students of FSU-Panama to develop a
greater awareness in the areas of conservation, natural resources, and
environmental impact.
