After four decades in Panama, Florida State is well positioned to place
students in educational and career-advancing internships. Internships
are unpaid, full- or part-time work assignments in business, political,
and professional settings for which students receive academic credit.
Interns also complete a personal journal, a summary report, and other
academic requirements. That's the basic definition, but the rewards are
anything but basic.

The breadth of the Mathematics and Science curriculum at FSU-Panama
enables students to sample a wide variety of courses so they can
fulfill the Liberal Studies requirement and prepare them for science
and engineering majors, or a career in the medical sciences. Students
may commence their studies in science and mathematics in their first
semester.

FSU-Panama offers a wide range of courses
in Business, focusing on giving students the necessary tools to complete
any of the degrees offered by the College of Business of Florida State
University. Students may finish the lower division requirements for all
business majors, as well as the general business core requirements and
several general business breadth courses while at FSU-Panama, allowing
them to complete any of the business degrees at Main Campus.
