Florida State came to the Republic of Panama in 1957 by invitation of the U.S. Department of Defense with the humble mission of providing basic college education to American soldiers stationed in the former U.S. Canal Zone. Since then, our campus has transformed from a small institution into a thriving, multicultural and open higher-education campus for the advancement of knowledge in the region, and the exchange of cultures and ideas between the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.
This great ocassion deserves a great celebration. FSU-Panama will host several activities in 2017 involving our students, alumni, faculty and staff. The exact dates have not been posted yet, so please check back later for more updates, or follow us in our social media accounts to stay up-to-date with everything related to FSU-Panama.
See how our campus has changed throughout our six decades. You'll find pictures from as early as 1960 up until today. We're still looking for more photographs: If you are a FSU alumni and have some old FSU-Panama pictures you'd like to share, you may do so here.
